A DAY IN THE LIFE:

As Floor Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of your restaurant. You are the leader in creating a working environment that is safe, functional, and transformative for customers and employees, ensuring an enjoyable and satisfying experience for guests of the restaurant.

As Floor Manager, you will manage overall operations of the Restaurant, with an additional focus on supporting the Corporate Beverage Director.

  • Act as the conduit between our employees’ and our guests’ experiences
  • Work directly with your General Manager, other management team members, and employees to support efficiency and communication
  • Promote company culture
  • Monitor and maintain food and service quality
  • Ensure cleanliness and restaurant appearance standards
  • Manage the successful completion of the opening/closing duties
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all cash and credit card transactions on your shift
  • Work with the Beverage Director and General Manager to complete weekly bar inventory.
  • Respond to customer complaints
  • Oversee the training of new staff members
  • Oversee the daily staff schedule, adjusting when and where necessary
  • Communicate with Human Resources regarding any employee matters or concerns
  • Complete employee write-ups and be in communication with your General Manager and/or Human Resources regarding employee issues
  • Complete employee reviews with the help of the General Manager and fellow managers
  • Support the sustainable and profitable running of your restaurant by enforcing and supporting the restaurant strategy
  • Manage food waste
  • Ensure the compliance of all applicable labor laws
  • Ensure that employees know and follow all health codes, safety procedures, and standards
  • Communicate any repair or maintenance issues to your General Manager
  • Uphold and enforce all company policies per employment handbook

Pre-requisites:

  • 3 Years of Restaurant Management Experience
  • Bar Management Experience is Preferred


Salary: $70,000 + Bonuses
