You will be overseeing all parts of the operation and providing leadership and coaching to our team. You take initiative, have strong assessment skills and provide feedback for your team and are agile in adapting to the ebbs and flows of the day to day business.

• Teach, mentor, and motivate the kitchen staff to uphold and exceed the highest standards of communication, quality, consistency, and execution
• Continually evaluate and guide team members to improve and grow into their full potential.
• Perform and oversee all managerial duties including opening and closing the kitchen.
• Interview, hire and manage the process of staffing the positions in the BOH.
• Train all staff with regards to food preparation, quality standards and health and safety regulations to ensure that all are followed consistently


• Must rapidly develop an understanding of every aspect of all stations in the kitchen and be able to produce every menu item from our kitchen according to our standards.
• Carry out the correct procedure of preparations, presentation, and portion control for all raw and cooked foods in accordance with the highest standards.
• Be able to expedite and lead the kitchen and its staff during prep and service.
• Plan, oversee, and execute daily prep lists and ensure all items are prepared to the highest quality.
• Oversee and manage all BOH planning and preparation, including staff scheduling, hiring, and production schedules.
• Completes daily produce and dry goods orders according to consumption
• Weekly/Period End Food Inventory
• Monitors food shipments to ensure they meet established purchasing specifications.

• Run an efficient kitchen, sticking to the labor budget.
• Manage and control food, labor, and equipment expenses to be in line with budget and forecast. Effectively eliminate waste and unnecessary expenses by controlling production volume, schedules, care of equipment/property, and inventory management

• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in accordance with company standards and local/state Health Department codes and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the BOH and ensure all SOP’s and food safety practices are followed and documented daily.
• Understand and follow all labor and break guidelines.

    Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
