As Floor Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of your restaurant. You are the leader in creating a working environment that is safe, functional and transformative for customers and employees, ensuring an enjoyable and satisfying experience for guests of the restaurant.

As Floor Manager, you will manage overall operations of the Restaurant including kitchen, floor, and bar:

  • Act as the conduit between our employees’ and our guests’ experiences
  • Be responsible for the experience we provide for both employees and guests by promoting company culture
  • Work directly with your General Manager, other management team members, and employees to support efficiency and communication
  • Support the sustainable and profitable running of your restaurant by enforcing and supporting restaurant strategy
  • Monitor and maintain food and service quality
  • Manage food waste
  • Manage the completion of the opening/closing food duties
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all cash and credit card transactions on your shift
  • Oversee the training of new staff members
  • Oversee the daily staff schedule, making adjustments when and where necessary
  • Complete employee reviews with the help of the General Manager and fellow managers
  • Ensure cleanliness and restaurant appearance standards
  • Ensure that employees know and follow all health codes, safety procedures, and standards
  • Communicate any repair or maintenance issues to your General Manager
  • Communicate with your General Manager and/or Human Resources regarding any employee matters or concerns and complete employee write-ups, if necessary
  • Respond to customer complaints
  • Uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures, per the employment handbook and labor laws

    Salary: $65,000 - $68,000
